The Pixie Planner Team Takes on Disneyland!

Our amazing team just wrapped up an incredible trip to Disneyland, diving deep into the parks, resorts, and pro tips to better serve our clients. Here’s a recap of our magical experience!
Day 1: Arrival & Downtown Disney
Our team gathered in Anaheim from all over the country—some road-tripping from Phoenix while others flew in from Florida, Missouri, and Michigan. We stayed at the Disneyland Hotel in the stunning 3-bedroom suite, a rare treat for us since we usually stay at Good Neighbor hotels. However, the nostalgia and rich history of the Disneyland Hotel make it one of our absolute favorites.
After an afternoon of working and welcoming everyone, we headed to Downtown Disney for dinner at Black Tap. While they are famous for their over-the-top shakes, their food is equally impressive, making it a great quick-service option.
We capped off the night with a visit to the new bar at Disneyland Hotel, The Broken Spell, before heading to bed in preparation for a jam-packed day of hotel tours.
Day 2: Exploring Good Neighbor Hotels
With hundreds of hotels surrounding Disneyland, it’s crucial for us to personally experience and tour as many as possible to ensure we match our clients with the best accommodations. Our day was dedicated to visiting several Good Neighbor hotels to learn more about their amenities and locations.
After a full day of hotel tours, we dined at a Disney villain-themed restaurant set inside a charming house just 10 minutes from Disneyland. The atmosphere was fun, and the food was fantastic!
Back at the Disneyland Hotel, we settled in for a fireworks view from our room. While we always look for value when booking trips, we truly believe everyone should experience a fireworks-view room at least once—it's pure magic!
Day 3: The Pixie Planner Disneyland & California Adventure Day
We were up bright and early to rope drop the parks, taking full advantage of our early entry benefit for staying on property.
The day was packed with:
✅ Rides & Attractions – Including the brand-new Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, where we got absolutely soaked!
✅ Content Creation & Photo Shoots – Capturing all the magic to share with our clients.
✅ Snacking Our Way Through Disneyland – The standout treat? The Cookie Butter Churro with vanilla ice cream—absolutely amazing!
Several of our planners were experiencing Disneyland for the first time, making it extra special!
Day 4: Wrapping Up & Off to the Superbowl!
Today, we checked out of the Disneyland Hotel and moved to a Good Neighbor Hotel for one night. Our last stop was a tour of the Candy Cane Inn, a boutique-style hotel known for its charm and hospitality.
With hotel tours complete, it was time to switch gears—Superbowl Sunday! We enjoyed a well-earned break before six of us headed out for our next adventure—a Royal Caribbean Cruise!
